Early morning

It looks like we're going to have a really early morning tomorrow. So far we haven't been able to get permission to have Vacya overnight tonight. The orphanage director has to give permission, but he's on vacation in Greece right now. The lawyer from the orphanage who has been coming to our court hearings is trying to find out if there is someone else that can give us permission since the director is not available. However, there isn't anyone at the orphanage right now because the kids are at camp. We'll probably have to leave Simferopol at 6am tomorrow morning to have enough time to get Vacya and get back in time for our 9:00 hearing. If anyone's awake at 2am (eastern time) tomorrow morning, we'd really appreciate your prayers. We have no idea at this point what's going to happen at this next hearing, but are still trying to be hopeful.

Hey, my prayers are going up for you. :) Good thing God can orchestrate all our heart feelings and gather them together for perfect harmony over Vacya. Wishing the best of everything for you tomorrow morning.

J & J,
We plan to set our alarm at 2:00 Am!

The delays have allowed you to know and understand through your own eyes the kinds of things Vacya lives with day after day.
Being "all boy" is expected to have some challenging days ahead.
The two of you are the perfect parents for Vacya.

Vacya continues to show his resiliency. He will welcome the "huge-lovely-goofy" families you come from!

On the home front:
Aunt Carol, Nieces, Maddie, Mackenzie are here from Kansas.
At this moment, they are at the cabin at Higgins.
Matt & Raelinda plan to pull their camper up. We plan to go up for a day at least.

Ok Joe, we renovated the camper so it does not look like girly-girl any longer. The decor is moose/bear woodsy. Dad likes it much better however he pointed out that though it is "manly" it has a woman’s touch.
Also, we have been clearing out the pole barn to turn it into a youth center.

Rob & Danielle are official home owners! They cannot wait to show you their new home.

Jaime, I had a nice conversation with your mom this week. She sounds good!

Stay tough you two!
Love you, Dad and Mom
